The home lists for $250 million, making it the most expensive single-family abode in the United States

Luxury developer Bruce Makowsky is known for designing and building residential real estate with high price tags — but his latest creation has taken luxury to the next level.

The home, located in Los Angeles, measures 38,000 square feet and lists for $250 million, making it the country’s most expensive residential listing ever, according to a report by CNBC.

One of its key features is prominently displayed as part of the design — an 85-foot-long, glass tile vanishing-edge pool. Other waterfeatures include a swim-up bar and oversized hot tubs. The master bedroom opens to a wraparound hot tub, which can be seen on the level above the main pool.

Swimmers and poolside loungers can take in an impressive view of the city skyline. And if the natural view isn’t enough, the pool area also features an 18-foot wide, 12-foot tall television screen that raises and lowers.

Makowsky’s sprawling creation also includes 17,000 square feet of entertainment decks with two master suites, 10 oversized VIP guest suites, 21 luxury bathrooms, three gourmet kitchens, five bars, a massage studio/wellness spa, fitness center, 40-seat home theater, four-lane bowling alley/lounge, an auto gallery for collecting and displaying cars, and a host of other high-end perks.

The inspiration behind this mega-mansion came from private jets and mega-yachts, which can sell from $150- to $500 million, according to Makowsky. His goal was to design a home that matched the level of decadence that billionaires spend millions on.

Mused Makowsky about his creation: “This home was curated for the ultimate billionaire who wants the best of everything that exists in life.”
